Regime Type: Commune
Capital: Self-named village
The Revtali Enclave is a relatively small, well knit collection of unusual people east of Heliopolis, hidden in a depression in the surrounding hills. Led by a single leader named Raz'kir, they were originally very isolationist, greeting any unknown visitor with threats and weapons until they went away. As of now, the isolationist ideals have been tempered greatly, mainly due to necessity, on top of good experiences with people who reached out to them. While they still rarely let outsiders within the confines of the village, they are more open to working with others. Some braver members have started enterprises in the neighboring city of Heliopolis.
Members of the Revtali Enclave are easy to spot, wearing their signature bulky suits. The suit is composed of a white, slightly baggy, full body suit adorned with a black visor helmet and a grey pack containing some equipment for the suit, most notably climate control systems for Tuzbair's brutal conditions. Notable features is the completely opaque visor, three fingered, bulky gauntlets, and an accent color to help separate individuals at distance. Members of the enclave are able to communicate with each other with an integrated radio transceiver.
Revtali have never been seen outside their suit. They will always refuse to remove any part of the suit, as they firmly believe that viewing any part of their visage will horribly curse anyone unfortunate to see it. This curse that hangs over them is something that has followed them for generations, resulting in the withering and decay of their people as they were forced to walk the sands, never finding a proper place to settle until they came upon Tuzbair.
Over time, as the area was determined to be safe enough, the enclave had gradually moved more and more members and remaining meager resoruces to the village they had begun to build for themselves. The geography of the area would make the village harder to spot, while also protecting from the brutal dust storms the area was known for.
Due to their insistence on a meat-only diet and an incident leading to a local faction discovering the village, under Raz'kir's leadership they begun to work more with the locals, after establishing they were not immediately hostile. This began a trade of goods, most notably food, for skilled labor as that was what they had in abundance. Revtali craftsmanship is of very high quality, and the knowledge and insight they have managed to preserve from their ancestors has proven invaluable to themselves and their allies.
